Kitchner, Audrey M. (July 10, 1932 - June 2, 2009)

 

Audrey M. Kitchner, 76, Menomonie, died Tuesday June 2, 2009 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

 

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 4 at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1584 in Menomonie with a special service by the Women of the Moose, followed by a service with Rev. James Harrington. A light lunch will be served following the services. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Church-Halvorson Cemetery in Menomonie.

 

Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 4, until the time of the

services at the Menomonie Moose Lodge.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Audrey’s name to the Loyal Order of

Moose Lodge #1584, Menomonie. Online condolences may be made at:

MENOMONIE - Audrey M. Kitchner, age 76, of Menomonie went to her eternal rest on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

 

Audrey was born July 10, 1932. She was the daughter of Einer and Irene M. (Cramer) Dahlby.

 

Audrey was raised in Menomonie until she met and married John V. Kitchner on April 14, 1952.

 

They resided in Eau Galle most of her life. Audrey worked for Sandy Lee Manufacturing as a cutter for many years. Following that, she worked at Silgan Containers; and for the past few years, she worked for Carlson Specialty Temps doing merchandise demos. Audrey was an active member of the Loyal Order Moose Lodge 1584 in Menomonie, and was a hospital auxiliary volunteer. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Audrey was an avid bingo player. She liked having family gatherings and playing pinochle, thoroughly enjoyed her Tuesday ceramic friends, and her specialty was quilting. Audrey will be missed immensely by her loving family and friends.

 

Audrey is survived by her son, Rick (Terrie) of Stratford; four grandchildren, Jessica (Andy) Carter of Marshfield, Shawn Kitchner of Providence, R.I., Katrina Kitchner of Vale, Ariz., Alex Kitchner of Stratford; a great-granddaughter, Cayda Carter; two step great- grandchildren, Kasey and Alani Carter; a sister, Judy (Jerry) Thornton of Florida; nieces and nephews, Chris (Debra) Ryding, Mark (Lori) Ryding, Jeff (Cheryl) Ryding, Craig Ryding, Laura Kasmareck and friend, CeAnne Becker; Cindy (Richard) Rasmussen, Teri (Mitch) Metropulous and Mike (Krista) Dahlby; cousin, Bob Cramer; several special great-nieces and nephews.

 

Audrey is preceded in death by her father, Einer Dahlby in 1962; mother, Irene Dahlby in 2008; her husband, John in 1994; a daughter, Susan Rae in infancy; and a brother, Ron Dahlby in 1991.

 

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1584 in Menomonie, with a special service by Women of the Moose, followed by a service with the Rev. James Harrington. A light lunch will be served following the services. Burial was in Christ Lutheran Church-Halvorson Cemetery in Menomonie.
