Syring, Edna (Marriage - 6 Mar. 1943)

In a nuptial high mass celebrated at St. Thomas Catholic church at Milan Saturday morning with the Rev. Raymond Schulz, Wuerzburg officiating, Clarence Wogernese, son of Frank Wogernese of the town of Johnson, took as his bride Miss Stella Syring of the town of Frankfort. Only attendants for the couple were Miss Edna Syring, Milwaukee, sister of the bride, and Raymond Hackel, Abbotsford.

The bride wore a gown of heavy white satin, styled with a fitted bodice buttoned down the back with tiny buttons of self material, and long sleeves pointed at the wrists. Her full-length veil of tulle was caught to a tiara of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations and snap dragons.

The bridesmaid, in a blue satin dress, with fitted bodice and flaring skirt, wore a pink flower headdress with shoulder veil and a corsage of pink and white azaleas.

A dinner for the bridal party was served at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Helmuth Mesalk, Wausau. A wedding dance was given in the evening at the Trianon garden.

Mr. and Mrs. Wogernese will reside on a farm near Milan.
