Greisch, C. J. (1901? - 1944)

C. J. Greisch, 43, publisher of the Edgar News, died Friday morning at 10:00 o’clock, at St. Mary’s hospital, Wausau. Mr. Greisch worked up until Thursday evening in the News office. During the early hours of Friday morning, he was taken ill and rushed to the hospital.

He leaves his widow and two sons, John and Jerome, at home, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Greisch, of Milwaukee.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9:00 o’clock at St. John the Baptist church, when a solemn requiem high mass was sung.

Besides publishing the News, Mr. Greisch operated a print shop at Edgar. He was also a member of the school board. Mr. Greisch was in Abbotsford during the basket ball tournament attending the games on both days.
