Peters, Loretta (5 Mar. 1914 - 30 Mar. 1992)

Mrs. Andrew (Loretta) Peters, age 78, a former Mishicot resident, died Monday morning, March 30, 1992, at North Ridge Care Center.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, Msgr. James Feely officiating with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum.

She was born March 5, 1914 in the town of Brighton, Marathon County, daughter of the late Anton and Frieda Voth Korntved. She was married to Andrew F. Peters Jr. on May 8, 1935 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder, Wis. They moved to Mishicot in 1943. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Holy Cross Altar Society.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew, of Manitou Manor; one daughter, Mrs. Joan Kochan of Manitowoc; six sons and three daughters-in-law, Vincent Peters of Two Rivers, Leroy and Ann Peters of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kenneth and Nancy Peters of Green Bay, Father Jerome Peters M.M. of Nepal, DuWayne Peters of Manitowoc, Virgil and Bonnie Peters of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Merle Bruer of Brookfield, Mrs. Gladys Ringquist of Spencer, Wis.; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.

Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday morning until we leave for the church at 10:30 a.m. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
