Fergot, Doris E. (14 Nov. 1922 - 27 Apr. 2008)

EDGAR -- Doris E. Fergot, 85, of Edgar, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice at Three Oaks, Marshfield.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Edgar.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, and again from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Nov. 14, 1922, in the town of Rib Falls, daughter of John and Eleanor (Yonkers) Vogedes. On Aug. 27, 1943, she married George W. Fergot in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded here in death Jan. 10, 2005.

For a short time Doris worked at Marathon Electric but her full-time duties were that of a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Georgia (Roger) Benson, Mosinee, Keith (Karen) Fergot, Appleton, Gary (Diane Drinsinger) Fergot, Edgar, Sue (Archie) Becker, Athens, and Michael (Wendy) Fergot, New York; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rita (Gerald) Heindl, Rib Mountain; and one brother, Alfred (Jan) Vogedes, Chesterton, Ind.
