Solinsky, Augusta (16 May 1886 - 24 Feb. 1960)

STRATFORD - Mrs. Rudolph Solinsky, 73, died early Wednesday morning at her home in the town of Green Valley after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Grace Lutheran Church in the town of Green Valley. The Rev. Gustav Gerth will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The body will lie in state at Sauter Funeral Home here from this evening until 11 a.m. Saturday, when it will be taken to the church.

The former Augusta Selky was born in Russia, May 16, 1886, and married Rudolph Solinsky in ? on Feb. 19, 1905. The couple came to Edmonton, Canada, in 1909 and moved to the town of Green Valley in 1919 and operated a farm there for 35 years. In 1949 they retired and built a new home. The couple observed the 65th wedding anniversary last week.

Surviving are her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Olga) Kramer, Stratford; Mrs. John (Frieda) Klasen and Miss Lena Solinsky, Chicago, Ill.; three sons, Artman Solinksy, Stratford; Herbert Solinsky, Minocqua; and Arnold Solinsky, Mosinee; three brothers, Ephraim Seikert, Racine; Robert and Arnold Selky, both of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Albert Kremin, Racine; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. One son died in infancy.
