Charles was a big man with a huge heart. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, polka music, Packer parties and working in his woodworking shop. Most of all, he enjoyed his family and grandchildren.

During his retirement, Charles was active in the Headstart program, Family Health, helping out everyone and serving the Lord. In his family's eyes he was a soldier and a hero, smiling and joking until his last days.
