Walters, Janice (Marriage - 14 OCT 1952)
Miss Janice Walters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Walters of Boyd and Roland A. Seidl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Seidl, Route 3, Stanley, were untied in marriage Tuesday morning, Oct. 14, 1952, at St. Mary’s Church in Stanley by the Rev. Ralph Geissler. The nuptial mass was performed in a double ring ceremony before an altar decorated with white and yellow chrysanthemums.
The bride, carrying a bouquet of red roses and white carnations, was attired in the traditional white satin with lace yoke, sweetheart neckline, long sleeves, a very full skirt and long entrain. Her fingertip veil was held in place with a tiara of seed pearls. Her only jewelry, pearl necklace and earrings, was a gift of the groom.
Miss Sylvia Korb, Cadott, as maid of honor wore a gown of rose satin and carried a bouquet of red carnations and white mums. Miss Lillian Walters, Boyd, as bridesmaid, wore gold satin with bouquet of red carnations and mums.
Karen Walters and Kathleen Zimmerman, as flower girls, wore aqua satin and carried baskets of white mums and red carnations.
Willard Chwala, Boyd, acted and as best man, and Kenneth Ebben, Stanley, as groomsman, while Duane Smasal and Patrick Walters…(the rest apparently was in a different column that I missed)
