SOUTH SPENCER

Mr. and Mrs. James Hoops and daughter Katharine of Milwaukee arrived Friday evening to spend Easter with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Hoops and his brother Lloyd.

Mrs. Ruth Barker returned Sunday from a weeks visit with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Peels and family at Aurora, Ill.

Roy Dittman and daughter Janice were Sunday dinner guests at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Barwineck at Marshfield.

Miss Violet Hanson visited Mrs. Albert Adams Thursday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Greening attended the funeral of the formers brother Gust, at Wausau Monday, March 22.

Mr. and Mrs. John Herman of Loyal visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Adams. Mr. and Mrs. Herman have sold their farm and personal property and are spending several weeks with their sons-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hodd of Curtis and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Hodd of Loyal, before leaving for Mt. Carroll, Ill., to visit Mr. Herman’s mother and his son Oliver and other relatives. They plan to go to Colorado to spend the summer months with relatives. They will also visit Mrs. Herman’s son, Raymond Hall and family at Kansas City, Mo., before returning to Wisconsin in the fall. Mr. and Mrs. Herman were former residents of Spencer.
