Anna Fritsch (27 Jul 1884 - 17 Feb 1972)

Mrs. John (Anna) Fritsch 87, of Spencer, a native of this village (Dorchester, WI), died Saturday. She was stricken with a heart attack at about noon in Clark County Hospital, Owen where she had resided the past five years.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from Christ the King Catholic church, Spencer, with Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp officiating at the 10:00 a.m. rites. Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Herman, Mr. And Mrs. Carl Mertens, and Max Kronschnabl attended the funeral.

Anna Younker was born here on July 27, 1884. She and John Fritsch were married here Oct. 28, 1902, and resided in this community until 1913 when they moved to Spencer. He died there May 12, 1954.

Surviving are six sons; Myron, of Withee; Lawrence, Spencer; Theodore, Green Bay; James, Stevens Point; Robert, Sun Prairie, and Emery, Green Valley, Ariz.,; a daughter, Mrs. George (Lucille) Plockelman of Chicago, Ill.; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister Bertha Miller of Eau Claire, and a brother William Miller, Fifield. A son, a sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
