Arch, Mildred Lucille (15 October 1923 - 25 July 1968)

Mrs. Ernest Arch, 44, of Greenwood died Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she was admitted July 25. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 9 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood and at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. The Rev. Nikolai will officiate. Burial will be made in Holy Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Arch, the former Mildred Lucille Podobnik, was born October 15, 1923, in the Town of Eaton. She was married to Ernest Arch October 26, 1946. They moved onto a farm seven miles southwest of Greenwood and had resided there since.

Mrs. Arch was a 1941 graduate of Greenwood high School. She was a member of holy Family Catholic Church, the Catholic Council of Women and the Slovenian National Benefit Society.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, William and James, at home; two daughters, Karyn and Nancy of Milwaukee; three brothers, Micheal and August Podobnik of Greenwood and Emil Podobnik of Willard; and four sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Eva) Vandoz of Joliet, Ill., Mrs. Arnold (Theresa) Mendleson of Milwaukee, Mrs. Gene (Gertrude) Long of Chicago and Mrs. Donald (Mary) Hatton of St. Paul, Minn.
