Granton (27 June 1968)

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hohenstein of Rockford, Ill., and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Poler spent last week fishing and camping near Hayward.

Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hickey and children of Rockford, Ill., who spent last week near Hayward, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Poler Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Poler, Mr. and Mrs. Hickey and family and the Herbert Hohensteins were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Fields Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Guy Rocca and daughter of Logan, Utah, have been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Reich. Mr. Rocca left Saturday for Massena, N. Y., where he has employment as an engineer with Reynolds Aluminum Company. Mrs. Rocca and daughter are remaining with her parents until living quarters are available there.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kroger of Hinsdale, Ill., returned home Friday after spending several days visiting her mother, Mrs. Dora Moh, and her brothers, Armin and Lucien Moh, and their families.

Mr. and Mrs. Manford Cain attended the Friendly Neighbor Club picnic Sunday in the Big Eau (blotch) Park in Wood County.

The Granton Methodist Church held a dinner Sunday.

Several members of Fidelity Camp, R. N. A. attended the county convention held last week Wednesday evening in Withee.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero visited Sunday evening at the Edward Nagel home in Edgar.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trimberger were afternoon and evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Gerber in Marshfield Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Durward Schwarze made a business trip to Minneapolis, Minn., Saturday, returning home Sunday.
