Moses, Merle L. (16 March 1939 – 14 December 2009)

Merle L. Moses, 70, of Port Huron, MI, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009.

Merle was born March 16, 1939, in Houston, TX, to Curtis and Nell Mathews. She was a 1957 graduate of Black River Falls High School.

Merle is survived by her husband, John of Port Huron, MI; children, Pamela (Mark) Ayers, John (Jackie) Moses, Robert (Franette) Moses and Betty (Frank Wichtner) Moses, all of Michigan; six grandchildren; and siblings, Curtis (Jeanette) Mathews of Kennesaw, GA and Irma (Bernie) Tyjeski of Wisconsin Rapids.

She will be remembered for her big loving heart and generosity and for the deep love she had for her family.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in Sterling Heights, MI.  Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery.
