Frost, Donna Jean (22 December 1940 – 26 February 2010)

 

Donna Jean Frost, 69, of Merrillan died at her home Friday, Feb. 26, 2010.

 

She was born Dec. 22, 1940, in Black River Falls, to parents Lyle and Virginia (Bates) Eddy.  She graduated from Lincoln High School in Alma Center. She married Kenneth Frost Aug. 20, 1960, in Merrillan.

 

Donna retired from the Krohn Clinic, where she worked for many years in the medical records department.  She was very involved with family, church and community activities.

 

She leaves behind her husband, Kenneth; her three children, Jeffrey Dean Frost of Brazil, Toni Lee (Eric) Simonson of Marathon and Troy Allen (Pamela) Frost of Helena, MT; siblings, Darlene (Arlen) Bohlmann of Chippewa Falls, Diane (Buck) Gust of Eau Claire, Dawn (Bruce) Kahl of Chippewa Falls, and Dennis Motte of Mesquite, NV.  Donna also leaves three grandchildren, Jordan Lee Simonson, Erica Jean Simonson and Aris Taylor Frost, besides many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle Eddy and Virginia (Bates) Motte, and by her father-and mother-in-law, Everette and Ethel Frost.

 

A memorial service for Donna J. Frost was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton, with Reverend Samuel Faust officiating.

 

A time of visitation for family and friends was held following the service.
