Peterson, Price C. (24 Nov. 1909 – 9 June 1994)

Price C. Peterson, age 84, of Rt. 2, Black River Falls, Wis., died on Thursday, June 9, 1994, in the Pine View Nursing home in Black River Falls, Wis., where he had been a resident since April 29, 1994.

Price was born on November 24, 1909, in the Town of Irving in Jackson County to Peter O. and Caroline (Gilbertson) Peterson. He was raised in the Townships of Irving and Albion.

On June 27, 1936, Price and Gertrude Erdman were married in Rockford, Ill. The couple lived their entire married lives in the Town of Irving.

Price was a farmer and cattle buyer. He served as a trustee for the Pine View Nursing Home from 1955-1978. He was a member of the Little Norway Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife, Gertrude, 2 sons, Dean (Irmgard), Black River Falls, Wisc., Gary of Woodville, Wis.; 3 daughters, Bonnie (Bud) Killinger of Black River Falls, Janet (Roger) Belisle of Glendale, Ariz., and Linda (Bob) McCormack of White Bear Lake, Minn.; 1 sister, Esther Emerson; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Pliny, and 5 brothers, Merlin, Raymond, Norman, Pliny, Norman, and 2 sisters, Cora and Harriet.

Funeral services for Price C. Peterson was Monday, June 13, 1994, at 2 p.m. from the Little Norway Lutheran Church. Pastor Calvin Thoreson officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Hampel, Sam Young, Bob Nortman, Bud Pomeroy, Dan Eddy, and Don Olson.

Pallbearers were Vernon, Gene, Verland, and Arlan Peterson, Gene Mason, and Roger Belisle.
