Geraldine was born June 17, 1921, in Cameron to Charles and Dora Parker. She attended Washington Grade School in Park Falls and Waukesha High School. She earned her GED in 1965.

Gerry was married to Lawrence Kundinger at Saint Anthony's Church in Park Falls on Nov. 16, 1939. Gerry moved back to the Marshfield area in 2001 to be near her family.

In August, she moved to the Bethel rehab and nursing facility in Arpin, where she received excellent care from their staff members. "Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made Mother's stay comfortable."

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence; one brother, Claude Parker; five sisters, Hazel Wahlstrom, Beatrice Landgraf, Alice Hilgart, Lorraine Schantini and Lila Rubey; and a sister, Bernice Maynard. Memorials may be designated to the American Lung Association.

"I'll be waiting on the far side banks of Jordan, I'll be waiting in that far-off promised land.

And when I see you coming, I will rise up with a shout,

And come running to you arms outstretched and reaching for your hand."
