Beseler, John A. (4 Apr. 1933 - 8 Jan. 1987)

Former Marshfield resident, John A Beseler, 53, Cumberland, died at 5:50 pm Thur. at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, where he had been a patient since Dec. 28.

Services will be held at 1pm Sun. at Hansen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Hedding of Faith Lutheran Church officiating, Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9pm Sat.and again on Sun.until service time at the funeral home.

He was born April 4, 1933, in Marshfield to Arnold and Helen Beseler. He attended Marshfield schools and was a graduate of Marshfield Senior High School.

He married Dona Reinwand from whom he was later divorced. He worked for Beseler Steel Products and later operated that business. They expanded with the founding of Beseler Tank Co. in Menomonie. In 1979, he moved Beseler Tank Co. to Chetek, operating it until 1985, when his sons took over the operation.

Surviving are three sons, Jack and Jay, Chetek, and Jerry, Carson City, Nev.; Three daughters, Jodi and Janalee Beseler, both of Carson City, and Jo Ellen Beseler, Menomonie; two sisters, Mrs. Lee (June) Weisenberger and Mrs. William (Lois) Butler, both of Marshfield; his parents, Marshfield; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frederick and Frank.
