Fred Hanson is about again after a few days illness.

 

Henry Sherman lost a large hog last week from the heat.

 

Harvey Herd went to Minnesota to work through harvest.

 

Maggie Rothenberger is visiting her aunts and uncles here for a few days.

 

It is reported that Mrs. Bruhn has invested $25 in a talking machine. Louis Schubert has been hired to run Henry Johnson's threshing engine this season.

 

Henry Johnson has taken his engine apart to repair it where needed and will soon start out threshing.

Our rural route mail man has got his premium wagon and has broke it in already. He is well pleased with it and don't care whether it rains or snows now.
