Auburndale Locals (28 Nov 1902) Auburndale. Will Harry of Colby, was in town Monday.

 

 

Auburndale.

 

A. M. Van Ryzin spent a few days of last week visiting his brother at March.

 

Chas. Burton moved his household effects up to Marshfield last Tuesday.

 

Geo. Schmidt and Rev. A. W. Artman transacted business at Marshfield last Wednesday.

 

Mr and Mrs. Jos. Minch were at Sherry Monday and Tuesday to attend the Linsmeyer-Weintutner wedding.

 

The dance given by the Stratford brass band was a social and financial success and the boys are well pleased with the result.

 

"Pat" O'Brien while attending the chamber of commerce last Monday was taken suddenly ill and is now in charge of a veterinary surgeon. Landlord Geo. Schmidt of the Auburndale House is having a new ice-house erected 20x30 feet. Tom Royney and crew are doing the work.

 

Fred Honeycreek has just finished writing the latest song entitled "Bolina Bumble." It will be sung by Paul Icecream at the Standard; Opera next Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kotas have moved into the house vacated by Chas. Burton. Scott Sheldon will move his family from Poynette and occupy the residence vacated by Mr. Kotas.
