E. B. ROSSIER, editor Enterprise, was bom at Vevay, near Geneva, Switzerland, Dec. 2, 1832. He came to the United States in 1851, and settled in Madison Co., Ill., and followed farming there until 1858. Came to Centralia, Wis., and engaged in mercantile business for the first twelve years, and then became cashier of the bank of Grand Rapids in 1870, and so continued three years. Was superintendent of construction of the Wis. Val. R. R., and for the past two years editor and publisher of the Enterprise, a Greenback paper, and is also a member of the law firm of Rossier & Baker. Was Chairman of Board of Supervisors, Wood Co., for 1877 and 1878. Has been Postmaster at Centralia about ten years, and City Clerk. Mr. R. was married, Nov. 3, 1853, to Miss Caroline Mennet, of St. Louis. Have four children — Celia (now Mrs. Frank Garrison), Alfred, Edmond and Emiele.
