EDWARD S. RENNE, Postmaster and druggist, Marshfield, was born near Potsdam, St. Lawrence Co., N. Y., 27th June, 1855. His father, Henry Renne, moved to the town of York, Clark Co., Wis., in 1861, where he died in 1864. He had no facilities for an education, as he lived on the frontier. He was employed as clerk in a store and post-office at Nasonville some time; then came to Marshfield in March, 1877, and in July of the same year was appointed Postmaster at Marshfield, which office he still holds. He also keeps a stock of drugs and groceries. He was married, Oct. 1, 1876, to Miss Lottie A. Parkill, of Keene, Wis. Have had three children, only one of which, Delia, is living. Mr. Renne is Chairman of the Town Board.
