Kopacz, Monica P. (1 June 1920 - 15 Nov. 2008)

Monica P. Kopacz, 88, of Marshfield died Sat. Nov. 15, 2008, at the House of the Dove Hospice Home with her family at her side. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tues., Nov. 18, 2008, at Grace Baptist Church, Marshfield.

Interment services will be held at 11 a.m. Thur., Nov. 20, 2008, at the Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, Ill. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mon. at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield, and one hour prior to service time at the church Tues..

Mrs. Kopacz was born June 1, 1920, in Chicago, to Anthony and Victoria (Kedzior) Pociask. She attended Chicago area schools.

The former Monica Pociask was united in holy marriage to Edwin Kopacz on June 18, 1944, in Chicago. He preceded Monica in death.

Mrs. Kopacz worked as an assembler for an electronic manufacturing company in the Chicago area.

Monica was a loving wife and mother, who cherished the time she could spend with her family. She especially enjoyed preparing delicious meals, and looked forward to the annual vacations they were blessed to have together. In her free time, Monica liked to garden, and was also an avid reader.

Mrs. Kopacz was an active member of Grace Baptist Church.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Andrea Kopacz, of Marshfield and Anthony (Joanne) Kopacz, of Chicago.

One sister, Bernice Wanka, and one brother, Ed Pociask, preceded her in death.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mrs.Kopacz's name are encouraged to do so to: Heifer International.

Those wishing to attend the graveside service, in Niles, Ill, please meet at the cemetery office at 10:55 a.m.
