Ryan M. Russ, 31, Marshfield, died Fri., Feb. 13, 2009 at Saint Joseph's Palliative Care, Marshfield.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wed., Feb. 18, 2009, at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Marshfield. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:30 p.m. until service time Wed. at the funeral home.

Ryan M. Russ, 31, Marshfield, passed away Fri., Feb. 13, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care, Marshfield.

He took his last breath at 8:30 p.m. succumbing gracefully and mercifully to leukemia. He was born July 1, 1977, the beloved son of Ardis Ashton.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wed., Feb. 18, 2009, at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Marshfield with the Rev. Mark Neuman officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home Wed. from 5:30 p.m. until service time.

Ryan is survived by his children, Madelynn and Logan Russ; his fiance, Marie Schulz and her daughter, Erica of Colby; his stepfather, William Ashton of Marshfield; a brother, David (Julie) Russ and their son Nathan of Denver; and a sister, Melanie (Robert) Mims and their sons, Duncan, Robbie and Julian of Sarasota, Florida. He is further survived by his maternal grandmother, Erma Kitzman of Marshfield.

Prior to his death he was employed at Abbyland Foods as line leader/machine operator. He enjoyed composing music and repairing computers for family and friends.
