Huber, Ellen M. (18 May 1930 - 22 Feb. 2009)

Ellen M. Huber, 78, of Marshfield, died Sun. Feb. 22, 2009, at her residence, with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thur., Feb. 26, 2009, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Marshfield.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wed., Feb. 25, 2009, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield, and also one hour prior to service. Private family interment will be held at a later time.

Ellen was born May 18, 1930, in Marshfield, to Ervin and Francis (Schwantes) Trierweiler. She graduated from Marshfield High School in the class of 1949. Ellen worked at the Marshfield Clinic and always as a homemaker and mother. The former Ellen Trierweiler was united in marriage to David A. Huber on May 27, 1950, in Marshfield.

Mrs. Huber enjoyed gardening, bowling and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Ellen is lovingly survived by her six children, Michael D. (Judith) Huber of Edgar, Greg (Emily) Huber of Marshfield, Jodi (John) Kruse of Marshfield, Terri (Allen) Mayer of Chili, Jana (Robert) Wagner of Marshfield, and Darcy (Dennis) Gamble of Marshfield; 12 grandchildren, Alanna, Elizabeth, Abigail, Brian, Alison, Katherine, Shana, Dana, Craig, Jonathon, Hannah and Isaac; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Huber is further survived by two sisters, Elaine Fleisner and Joan Heiting; one sister-in-law, Patricia Trierweiler; as well as many other family and friends. She will truly be missed.

Ellen was predeceased by her husband, David; her parents; and one brother, James Trierweiler.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Ellen's name are encouraged to do so to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Marshfield.

Ellen's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Ministry Heath Care Home Hospice Program.
