Donald E. Wolf, 72, of Marshfield died Mon., March 9, 2009, at the Palliative Care Unit at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thur. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt.

Visitations will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wed. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) and again on Thur. at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the services.

Donald E. Wolf, 72, of Marshfield died Mon., March 9, 2009, at the Palliative Care Unit at Saint Joseph's Hospital.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thur., March 12, 2009, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt with the Rev. Eric Linzmaier officiating. Gladys Martin will be the organist along with St. Michael's Funeral Choir. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Justin and Jordan Krutza, Jeff, Edward, Darrin and Jerome Schneider serving as the pallbearers.

Visitations will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI); and again Thur. from 10 a.m. until time of the services at the church. There will be a 4:30 p.m. rosary service today at the funeral home.

Don was born June 1, 1936, in Marshfield to Edward and Irma (Hauke) Wolf.

He was united in marriage to Celia C. Schneider on Sept. 10, 1960, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hewitt.

Don worked in construction for most of his employment, retiring in 1998. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and bowler.

Don is survived by his wife Celia; his mother, Irma Wolf of Marshfield; children, Sharon (Tom) Kelly of Pulaski, Gary (Lisa) Wolf of Plover, Larry Wolf of Stoughton, Teri (Mark) Krutza of Stevens Point, Perry (Joanne) Wolf of Medford, Jerry (Susan) Wolf of Marshfield and Kari Wolf of Marshfield; and nine grandchildren. He is further survived by two sisters, Elaine Schneider of Auburndale and Carol (Mike) Winkel of Lindsey; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Wolf of Milwaukee.

Besides his father; he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Wolf; and a brother-in-law, Edmund Schneider.
