Wilhelm, Francis A. (29 Jan. 1929 - 18 Nov. 1994)

 

Francis A. Wilhelm, 65, of 1006 Arlington St., died at 9:22 p.m. Nov. 18, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Emergency Room.

 

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tues. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. James J. Logan officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Helen Brinkmann, organist, and Frank Binder, soloist.

 

Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerome Binder, Leroy Binder, Glen Phillips, Richard Kraemer, Donald Derfus and Lester Burkhardt.

 

Visitation will be at 6 tonight at the Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Chapel and again on Tues. until service time. Our Lady of Peace Prayer Service will be at 7 tonight followed by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Memorial Services at 7:30.

Oconto, to Ambrose and Bertha (Ibinger) Wilhelm. He married Marjorie A. Binder on Aug. 24, 1955, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Bakerville.

 

He was a graduate of Westboro High School. After his education, he was in the United States Army from Feb. 28, 1951, until his discharge on Nov. 27. 1952, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Hub City Foods for 30 years, retiring in March 1992. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Badger Aerie No. 624.

 

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Brian (Lori) Wilhelm of Nekoosa and Steve (Janet) Wilhelm of Stratford; three daughters, Myra (Robert) Hayden of Elk Mound, Ellen (Ben) Sears of Eau Claire, and Linda (Garry) Rasmussen of Marshfield; two brothers, Richard (June) Wilhelm of Newark, Ohio and Ralph (Ann) Wilhelm of Manitowoc; five sisters, Mildred Nolan of Quebec, Canada, Lois (Ralph) Erd and Eleanore (Tom) Vech, all of Florida, Mary (Roy) Esselman of Menomonee Falls, Helen (Lester) Thomas of Poynette; and seven grandchildren.

 

He was predeceased by his parents and one sister.
