Catherine (Cassie) Andrew was born Feb. 1, 1919, to Edwin and Katherine Collins in Amherst, S.D. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday happily with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She married Roy Andrew on July 14, 1943, and they shared 58 wonderful years together. They were lifelong residents of Marshfield and loved this community. Together they enjoyed playing bridge, golf and traveling. She had been a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic parish and participated in the choir. Cassie took pleasure in her work as a secretary, especially later in her career at the district office for the Marshfield School District. After retirement she volunteered at St. Vincent's and Saint Joseph's Hospital. In recent months, Cassie lived in Gables of Germantown an assisted living apartment to be near her family. She loved meeting new people and playing dominoes.

Catherine is survived by daughter, Louise Rogers (Ken) Germantown; grandchildren, Andy Rogers (Brenda), St. Paul, Steve Rogers, Ashland, Anne Marie Rogers, Eau Claire, Megan Heiser (Jake), Monticello, Quinn Andrew, Minneapolis, Dylan Andrew (Alysa), River Falls, Casey Andrew, Texas; and great-grandchildren Lucas and Caleb Heiser. Her one surviving sister, Zita Cherry, lives in Hot Springs, Ark.

She is preceded in death by husband, Roy Andrew; sons, Franklin and Thomas; parents, brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian burial will be at Sacred Heart Parish at 10:30 a.m. Thur., March 26, with the Rev. Peter Manickan officiating. Suzanne Golden and Sacred Heart Funeral Choir will provide the music for the service. Pallbearers are Andrew Rogers, Steven Rogers, Jake Heiser, Dylan Andrew, Casey Andrew and Paul Steffek. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marshfield. There will be luncheon following the cemetery service at the Sacred Heart Parish Hall.

Visitations are scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wed. at the Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) and again Thur. at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time. There will be a combined Parish and PCCW Rosary service at 4 p.m. Wed. at the funeral home.
