Death of Louisa Zink

DIED—At St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Louisa, the 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Zink who live on the McMillan road. Her death, which came very suddenly, was attributed to heart disease and kidney trouble. Her illness was less than 4 days in duration, dating from Tuesday noon. Friday night at about nine o'clock she breathed her last. Tuesday forenoon she was picking peas, and about eleven o'clock went to the house, saying she did not feel well. She was advised by her mother to lie down, and a Zink entered the little room later Mrs. to inquire how she-felt and found her unconscious. A doctor was called and an earnest effort was made to restore her to consciousness, but without avail. Wednesday evening at the request of the doctor, she was removed to St. Joseph's hospital, where she was given the best of care and medical science, Friday morning she regained consciousness, and her general appearance warranted hopes of recovery; but after two hours, she again relapsed into a deep sleep, from which she never awoke.

Deceased was the pride and joy of her parents, and a general favorite among her young friends. To the bereft and heart-broken parents are extended our kindliest sympathy in this, their sad hour of loss.

She' was laid to rest Monday afternoon in the Lutheran cemetery, Rev. L. Thorn officiating. The procession which followed the remains to its last resting place was indicative of the high esteem in which deceased was held, as well as the compassion felt for the bereft.

The following acted as pallbearers: Frank Petrick, Robert Borens, Roy Scallenger, 'Frank' Jehle, Otto Jehle and Myron Vaughn, Tillie Schroeder, Bertha Sommers, Annie Jehle and Annie Broders were .flower- bearers, and the floral offerings were many and appropriate.
