Knapp, Patricia (31 Jan. 1941 - 1 Oct. 1988)

 

VESPER - Patricia Knapp, 47, Vesper, died at 8 p.m. Sat. at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield, where she had been admitted Aug. 29. Death followed a two year fight with cancer.

 

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tues. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids. The Revs. Norman Paul and Martin Bauer will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids. Memorials may be given in her name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Lutherans for Life Club, or the Ronald McDonald House in Marshfield.

 

Visitation will be at the Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, from 4-9 today.

She was born Jan. 31, 1941, in Milwaukee, to Roy and Priscilla Schoeneich.

 

She was married to Kenneth Knapp June 18, 1960, in Milwaukee.

 

She had worked in Student Services at Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids from 1975-86. She was president of the Ronald McDonald House of Marshfield.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Lutherans for Life Club, and served as a counselor in the Lutherans for Life Club of Wausau.

 

She is survived by her husband; her parents, Roy and Priscilla Schoeneich, of Vesper; one daughter, Lori Bemke of Wisconsin Rapids; two sons, Brian of Madison, and Eric of Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Robert of Milwaukee; and one sister, Christine Koch of Milwaukee.  She was predeceased by her grandparents.
