Wendt, Mirth F. (28 Mar. 1925 - 16 Oct. 2008)

HEWITT -- Mirth F. Wendt, 83, Hewitt, joined her Lord and Savior on Thur., Oct. 16, 2008, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tues., Oct. 21, 2008, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt, with the Rev. Dean Pingel officiating. Burial will take place in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hewitt.

The visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Mon. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) and Tues. they will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hewitt.

Mrs. Wendt was born March 28, 1925, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Percy and Flora (Coy) Cudmore and graduated from high school there. She married Robert C. Wendt on Oct. 6, 1951, and they observed 57 years of marriage. She had worked in nursing care for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, and their children, Susan, Bonnie, Beverly, David, Daniel and Sally. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Eileen Dryden; and brothers, Clayton (Jackie) Cudmore and Donald (Irene) Cudmore.

She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Bobby in 1975; and two brothers, Garth and Rolon Cumore.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials.
