Ritz, Father (May 19, 1883)

Father J. W. Ritz was born in Bamburg, Bavaria on May 19, 1883 and ordained in Luxembourg.

In the same year he came to America, he was made pastor of Medford, in May of 1884.

In September 1889, a parochial school was first opened and in the Town of Molitor, he built a log chapel for the settlers.

During the administration of Father Ritz, the completion of the new church was completed.
