Dickopf, Peter, Monsignor (December 11, 1865 - 1963)

Father Peter Dickopf was born on December 11, 1865, at Breitenau, Province of Nassau, Germany and was ordained in 1889.

In 1889, he came to America and on June 1905, was appointed successor to Father Schoelch.

Father Dickopf purchased and enlarged a neighboring house, which he used as a rectory until May of 1916.

After he celebrated his golden sacerdotal jubilee, he retired again to Medford, where he is at this date, at the age of 88, still officiating as Ordinary Confessor of the School Sisters and celebrating Mass in the private chapel of his residence.
