Warner, Grace C. (Schwoch) (August 2, 1926 - May 14, 2010)

Grace C. Warner, 83, Port Edwards, died Friday, May 14, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services were held Monday, May 17, 2010 at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Martin Baur officiated. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery in the Town of Saratoga.


Grace was born August 2, 1926 in Chelsea to Paul and Myrtle (Rindt).

She married Ronald E. Warner on September 12, 1942. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2000. She worked as a housekeeper at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids, was a nursing assistant at Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards and operated Green Hill Antiques.


She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saratoga. She enjoyed antiques, watching Nascar, reading and doing crossword puzzles.


She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (Leon) Frischman of Escanaba, Mich.; grandchildren, Leah (Jeff) Brown, Steven Frischman and Jodi (Bradley) Weigand; two great-grandsons, Andrew and Tristin; two loving sisters, Darlene (Walter) Reynolds and Irma (Melvin) Neumueller; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; and daughter, Ronna.


Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted the family.
