Hochstetler, Gideon (1852? – 23 Nov. 1939)

Funeral services for Gideon Hochstetler, 77, town of Holway, Taylor county, who died last Thursday of a heart attack after two years’ illness, were held Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. I. B. Yoder, in the town of Holway. Joseph Laymen officiated at the funeral. Pallbearers were Urias, Joseph, Malcom and David Schrack. Surviving are the widow, and seven children, John and Samuel Hochstetler, Mrs. Jacob Miller and Mrs. Daniel Grasber, Middleton, Ind., David Hochstetler, Topeka, Kan., and Mrs. Yoder and Mrs. Neal Bontrigger, town of Holway.
