Komarek, Brian J. Sr. (September 22, 1956 - September 10, 2008)

 

Brian J. Komarek Sr., 52, Town of Dewey, Portage County, died Wednesday, Sept. 10 at his residence.

 

Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 14 at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford.

 

Brian Komarek was born September 22, 1956 in Wausau, to John and Jeanette (Zettler) Komarek Jr.

 

He attended grade school in Athens and later received his GED through Athens Public High School. After his education he moved to Stevens Point and worked at Lullabye Furniture Company.

 

In 1982 he married Sandy Bunkelman and they later divorced.

 

He later married Michelle Kuehl, and they were later divorced.

 

He moved to Lake Tomahawk and worked as a plant manager for Johnson Level and Tool Company, then later moved back to the Stevens Point area. He was currently employed as an administrator for CAP Services of Stevens Point.

 

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and spending time outdoors.

 

Survivors include his children, Brian Jr. and Brianna Komarek, both of Lake Tomahawk, and Miranda Komarek of Wausau; his mother, Jeanette of Abbotsford; paternal grandmother, Marcella Komarek of Abbotsford; a brother, Terry (Glenda) of Wausau; and two sisters, Debra (Bobby) Rudolph of Unity and Lynette (Dale) Hanne of Gilman.
