Bell, Diane Mary (30 NOV 1963)

United in marriage Saturday, November 30, at 10:30 a.m. in Corpus Christi Catholic Church at Bakerville were Miss Diane Mary Bell of Marshfield and Norbert Albert Fellenz, route 2, Spencer.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bell, route 3, Marshfield and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Fellenz, route 2, Spencer.

The ceremony was performed by the pastor, Rev. Francis P. Rushman; in which the bride was presented by her father.  Sister M. Damian was the organist, and the children’s choir sang the nuptial High Mass.

The bride appeared in a white floor length gown of Chantilly lace made with a square neckline and hoop skirt.  The skirt was of all around tiers of lace over taffeta and net ruffles, which ended in a chapel train trimmed with three bows.  Her fingertip veil was attached to a crown of pearls and crystals.  She carried a bouquet of red roses, white carnations and white lily of the valley, with rosebuds and streamers.

The maid of honor was Miss Karen Bell of Marshfield, with Miss Doris Phillippi, route 1, Pittsville; Miss Joan Katzenberger, route 2, Marshfield; and Mrs. Robert Kloos of Milwaukee, bridesmaids.

The aides each wore a floor length formal of taffeta with a bow at the bodice and a matching head piece designed as a bow with a teardrop on the forehead and holding a face veil.  Their bouquets were of American beauty roses and white gardenias.

Mary Bell and George Spindler were flower girl and ring bearer.

The groom’s attendants were Robert Bushman, route 3, Marshfield, best man, and Richard Fellenz, route 2 Spencer; Eugene Spindler, route 3, Stratford; and Robert Koss, Milwaukee, groomsmen.  The ushers were Robert Fellenz and Larry Bell.

A wedding brunch, reception and supper was held in the church hall, and a dance was held in the evening at the Marshfield Armory.

The new bride is a 1960 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School and also attended St. Mary’s Parochial School at Bakerville.  Her husband attended parochial school and high school in Loyal.

Guests attending the wedding were from Marshfield, Loyal, Spencer, Stratford, Pittsville, Menomonie, Little Chute, Appleton, Grafton, Madison, Kewaskum and Milwaukee.
