Dies Suddenly While Visiting Here

Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kyser and the latters [sic] nephew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miller and baby of Jefferson, Iowa, who have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Kyser at Madison, drove to Spencer to visit over Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Orgish and Mr. and Mrs. John Hess. They spent a happy evening Saturday and Sunday morning just before dinner, Mr. Kyser complained of feeling ill and rapidly got worse. A doctor was called and the nephew took Mr. Kyser to the hospital at Marshfield were he passed away about 4 p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Miller and baby, Mrs. Kyser and her neice [sic], Mrs. John Orgish, drove to Madison late Sunday night and the remains were taken down Monday evening.

The funeral was held from the Frautchi Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon with burial in Madison.

Besides his wife, Mr. Kyser is survived by two sisters and a neice [sic] and nephew of South Bend, Indiana and Chicago, Ill.

The Kyser’s have made their home in Madison a number of years where Mr. Kyser who is 59, has been in the clothing business, selling tailored suits for men and women. He and Mrs. Kyser have visited their relatives in Spencer many times and are quite well known here. Mr. Kyser was an ardent hunter and fisherman and hunted in the northern woods every year.

Messers John Hess and John Orgish accompanied by Mrs. Hess’ sister, Mrs. Olive Miller from Minneapolis to Madison to attend the funeral. Mrs. Hess, who had the misfortune to fall and badly injure her leg necessitating it being placed in a cast, was unable to attend the funeral.
