Fields, Reuben (6 August 1890 - 29 March 1968)

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for Reuben Fields, 77, of Rt. 1, Pittsville, who died Friday in Neillsville. The Rev. Robert Lundberg of Arpin officiated. Burial was made in the Sherwood Cemetery.

Mr. Fields was born August 6, 1890, in the Town of Fremont. He was married January 1, 1916, in the Town of Sherwood to Hattie Sparks, who died in 1963. Following their marriage they farmed in the town of Sherwood.

He is survived by two sons, Wilbur of Granton and Alfred of Pittsville.

Pallbearers were: James and Russell Todd, Wayne Booth, Lyle Cattanach, Lyle Carey and Norman Freedlund. Soloist was Bernard Deniston, who was accompanied by Mrs. Deniston.
