Mr. Clinton Day died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Alfred Johnson on Friday afternoon, Feb 6, 1914.  The remains were taken to Seymour for burial, Monday.

Mrs. John Pietenpol has been sick for the past week and with stomach and liver trouble.  She is able to be about again.

Mrs. Torwald Johnson who has been assisting in the care of Mr. Day returned to her home in Shawano the last of this week.

Effie Davis called on Mrs. John Pietenpol Saturday afternoon.

There wasn’t any school in any of the schools around here Friday on account of the teacher’s institute.

Rush Wentworth takes advantage of every bit of snow and hustles the logs and bolts to Granton.

Mrs. Melvina Wright visited her daughter Mrs. Felia Osgood Saturday.

Mrs. Ed Ackerman and Mrs. Joe Krause spent last week Friday with Hrs. H. Roehl and the Adolph and August Foemmel families at Chili.

Mrs. Fed Foemmel Sr. visited her sister Mrs. Ackerman one day last week.

Mrs. Huntley spent Monday with relatives in York.

Truman Davis bought a registered Holstein bull calf of L.E. Moh last week.
