W.B. Wentworth spent Friday night with his son Rush.

Al Nonhof, a.w. Hales, Rush Wentworth and Truman Davis showed their patriotism by selling Bonds in spite of the snowstorm. They said the soldier can't choose their time and weather, so we won't.

In Friday's paper was a picture of four brothers who had enlisted. Now it's up to somebody to put a picture of the Haugen boys from Neillsville in the paper.

Mr. Nonhof received word Saturday, Oct. 27th, that her sister Mrs. Oldenburg of Unity had a baby boy. This is their eighth child and first boy.

Jessie Scoles, Dells Knoll, Smith Davis and Geo. Ehlert spent Saturday night at John Pietenpol's.

Mr. and Mrs. John Pietenpol and F.W. Davis spent Sunday at Truman Davis'.

Several from here attended the basket social at Daphne Beeckler's school Friday night.

Mrs. J.M. Tompkins visited at J. Pietenpol's the first of the week.

Bat. Cranston sold his white oak timber for $45.00 per thousand on the stump, said timber to be used in building airships.

Lawrence Davis autoed over to Ed Begley's Monday with his grandfather, Truman Davis.

It snows a little every day, but still farmers are plowing.
