Koepp, Veda (27 September 1899 - 28 December 1967)

Mrs. Arthur Koepp, 68, of Greenwood, died suddenly December 28, 1967, at Alamo, Tex., where she and her husband had gone in late October to spend the winter months. Funeral services were held January 1, from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. David Logue, pastor of Zion Immanuel United Church, officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.*

Mrs. Veda (Howard) Koepp was born September 27, 1899, in Richland Center, the daughter of Ora and Adelle (Davis) Howard. She was married June, 1961, to Dr. Arthur Koepp. They resided at Lake Mead during the summer, and made Texas their winter home.

She was a graduate of Richland Center High School and Stevens Point State University. She taught school in Richland Center and Clark County, and retired in 1961. She taught the last several years in Minocqua. She came to Greenwood in 1950 and managed the Howard Hotel after the death of her parents.

Mrs. Koepp was a member of the Greenwood Order of the Eastern Star and Grace Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a twin sister, Mrs. Otto (Frieda) Seybold of Friendship; and a brother, Claude Howard of New Richland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur Koepp of Greenwood, who died in Alamo, Tex., were held January 1 from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. David Logue officiated. Burial was made in the cemetery at Lyndon Station.*

Pallbearers were: Donald Decker, Harold Krom, Dale Jollivette, Edward Rossow, Verland Berrett and Thomas Querin. Organ music was played by Mrs. Don Warner.

*Two different burial places given, but in checking with the cemeteries, she was buried at Lyndon Station, WI.
