Elizabeth Wilsmann, 76, of Neillsville died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Elizabeth F. Holt was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Greenwood, the daughter of Edward Earl and Bertha Albina (Putzel) Holt. She attended school in Loyal and graduated from Loyal High School in 1954. Elizabeth worked in the banking industry for several years, including serving as vice president at the Neillsville Bank. She also worked with the Green Thumb program in Clark County, at the Family Heritage Nursing Home in Black River Falls and currently was claims coordinator at Security Health in Marshfield.

Elizabeth was united in marriage to Robert Wilsmann, Sr., Nov. 6, 1954, in Neillsville. She was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Neillsville Saddle Tramps Horse Club. She loved riding horses, and she enjoyed traveling out west and hunting. Most of all she loved spending time with her family; she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.

She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and will be in our hearts forever. “You were always the strength of our family. Now we must let you rest calmly. As we say goodbye, as tears roll down our eyes, we know you have a special place in heaven.”
