Satterly, Lincoln (1859 - 4 MAY 1897)


Lincoln Satterly died at his home in Levis, Clark County on Tuesday, May 4th, 1897, aged 37. He was born in Winnebago County, and came to Clark County in 1859, settling in Levis. He suffered much from asthma, and a sudden attach of hemorrhage cause his death. He leaves a wife and two children.

Rev. T. C. Hill preached the funeral sermon in the log school house on Thursday forenoon. He was buried in Levis Cemetery. Mr. Satterly was much respected by his neighbors.
