Benedict, Sidney D. (6 NOV 1826 - 24 AUG 1896)

Died, Sidney D. Benedict, at his home in the town of Grant, Clark County, at the age of 70 years, of abscesses of the liver. The funeral was held at the Pleasant Ridge M.E. Church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Foster.

Sidney Benedict was born in Milton, Saratoga, Co., N.Y., Nov. 6, 1826. He married Emeline H. McPherson IN 1848. He was the father of six children, five of whom are now living.
