Philpot, Catherine Merrill (1841 - 11 NOV 1892)

Catherine Merrill Philpot died at her home in Loyal, Clark County on Nov. 11th, 1892, of complicated diseases, at the age of 51 years.

She is the wife of Harry Philpot, OF Loyal, and was born in the state of New York in 1841 and moved to Dodge Co. in 1856. She was married to to Harry Philpot in 1866. She moved to Loyal in 1874, where she has since lived. She leaves two sons, Thomas and William.

The funeral service was conducted by Rev. G. N. Foster at the Methodist Church in Loyal, Sunday, Nov. 13th, which was very largely attended by people from all over the county, estimated to be over four hundred.
