Lawrence, Irving J. (18 MAR 1858 - 25 FEB 1882)

Died, at John Vine's camp, Saturday, Feb. 25, 1882, of heart disease, Irving J. Lawrence of the town of York, Clark County, aged 23 years, 11 months, and 7 days.

He was born at Plymouth, Sheboygan County, March 18, 1858. He had not been feeling well for some time, but still worked up to the evening before his death, and did not seem dangerous until and hour before he died. He had been a member of the Sherman Guards. His disconsolate widowed mother has the consolation of knowing he was a model young man, and beloved by all, as the over crowded church on the occasion of his funeral testified.
