Kehrberg, Cornelia M. (7 APR 1893 - 28 SEP 1984)
Funeral services for Mrs. Cornelia M. Kehrberg, 91, Main St., Loyal, Clark County, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 1984, at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Kehrberg died around noon on Friday, Sept. 28, 1984, at her home.

Cornelia Pitz was born Apr. 7, 1893 in Amana, Iowa to Carl and Wilhemina (nee Jeck) Pitz. She received her education in Amana schools. On Jan. 11, 1915 she married Gerhard Kehrberg in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They celebrated their golden anniversary in 1965. After their marriage they lived in Neenah, Wis. and operated a general store. In 1916 they moved to Loyal, where they operated Kehrberg's General Store until 1949, when he sold it to his son. Afterward, they operated A W Root Beer stands in Marshall, Mich. and Chariton, Iowa.

Mrs. Kehrberg was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid. She was also a charter member of the Women's Study Club.

She is preceded in death by one son, Douglas, in infancy, one daughter Henrietta, in infancy, and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Gerhard two sons, Clarence in Puyallup, Wash. and Wilbur in Loyal four sisters, Miss Dorothy Pitz in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Carolyn Miller in Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Maris Skogsberg in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mrs. Fred (Wilhemina) Hollands in Cedar Rapids, Iowa five grandchildren five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Rinka Funeral home is handling the arrangements.
