Gaylord, Lillian (4 JUN 1899 - 19 APR 1984)


Lillian Gaylord, wife of a former, Greenwood, Clark County, Methodist minister, died at River Falls on Thursday, April 19, 1984.

Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, April 21, 1984, at the Rockland, Wis. Cemetery.

Lillian Kirkeng was born to Iver and Karoline Kirkeng at Fish Creek near Rockland on June 4, 1899. She was the youngest of 12 children.

She attended the Fish Creek Grade School and a secondary school at Galesville and taught parochial school.

She and Cecil Gaylord were married in 1917 and he and their five children survive Curtis of Balsam Lake, Joyce Bakke of St. Petersburg, Fla., Shirley Mortensen of Madison, Stanton of Washington, D.C. and Lester of River Falls, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
