Danielson, Peder (6 AUG 1898 - 11 DEC 1985)


Peder Danielson, 87, Woodstock, Ill., and a former resident of the Greenwood and Neillsville, Clark County areas, died Dec. 11, 1985 at his home. Services were held Saturday at the Schneider, Leucht, Erwin and Cooney Funeral Home in Woodstock, with the Rev. Paul Holmer of Grace Lutheran Church, officiating.

He was born Aug. 6, 1898, in Chicago, the son of David and Mary (Pearson) Danielson. He married Theresa Horn on June 21, 1922, at Greenwood and they farmed in the Greenwood and Neillsville areas for a number of years before moving to Illinois.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. John (Arlene) Mattingly, Huntley, Ill., and Mrs. Richard (Florence) Gray, Woodstock, Ill., two sons, Merlin and Bernard, both of Woodstock two brothers, David, Greenwood, and Arendt, Neillsville 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Hannah Stensvold, and one grandson, Thomas Mattingly.
