Langfeldt, Wilfred E. (25 MAR 1932 - 31 DEC 1984)


A memorial service, followed by cremation was held in Houston for a former Clark County resident, Wilfred E. "Butch" Langfeldt, 52, of Houston, who died of cancer, Dec. 31, 1984 in Houston following a long illness.

Mr. Langfeldt, son of Edwin Langfeldt, Neillsville, and Mrs. Adela Coutcher, Spencer, was born March 25, 1932 in Clark County and was educated in Withee.

He served in the U.S. Army and after his discharge, had been residing in Texas.

Surviving are his wife, Kay, and a son, Mark, both of Houston another son, Wilfred Jr., of El Paso, Texas a daughter, Nancy from a previous marriage, living in the state of Washington four grandchildren four sisters, Mrs. Ted (Vivian) Briski of Greenwood, Mrs. Rosalee Henderson of Racine, Mrs. James (June) Pollard of Hobbs, N.M., and Mrs. Dennis (Trudy) Taves, Marshfield and a brother, Adelbert E. "Guy" Langfeldt, Marshfield.

He was predeceased by two sisters.
